Usability Audits
Your website might look snazzy, but can people figure it out? Can they use it? Is it confusing?
Customers are notoriously impatient online. If they can't find what they are looking for immediately, they're going to leave. Imagine you are in a store and you can't find the cash register? In real life, you'd probably ask the person next to you where it is, but on the Internet you just go to another website.
Sites with a lot of traffic will benefit most from a usability audit. If you can increase conversions and site exits by even a percentage, this could mean a significant revenue increase. We don't recommend a usability audit for smaller sites, but we follow all the best practices and that's usually enough.
There are different ways to measure the usability of your website:
- Heuristic Evaluation
- Usability Testing
- Competitive Analysis
- Website Metrics
